ADCO Contracting recognises the growing public concern about damage to the environment as a consequence of economic development.

As a main contractor and as a responsible member of the business community, we believe the balance must be struck between desirable development and the protection of the environment.

ADCO Contracting intends to play its part by continually seeking ways to prevent pollution and minimise the effects of its office and site-based activities on the environment.

This management structure and the responsibilities of the company employees are contained in this Environmental Policy Document and in the Environmental Operating Procedures that give effect to the objectives set out above.

As the Environmental Management System is an integral part of the management process existing within ADCO Contracting, the Directors require the active co-operation of all members of staff to ensure the effective delivery of services to client.

• Prevent pollution and waste
• Ensure efficient use of materials and energy
• Comply with environmental legal requirements and emission standards
• Review our activities re their impact on the environment
• Set targets for the reduction of environment impacts
• Implement an environmental management planning procedure for site base activities to ensure management and control where within our control
• Integrate such control into our existing management system for Quality, Safety and Health
• Expect our subcontractors to comply with this policy and meet environmental requirements
• Provide the necessary awareness and training to enable staff to contribute to policy implementation
• Maintain a policy for continuous improvement of the environmental management system and performance
• Communicate this policy to all employees and sub-contractors
