20th October 2015 | Double A Rating Safe-T-Cert for ADCO

Having previously secured our Safe-T-Cert in 2012, ADCO Contracting are delighted to announce that this certification has been upgraded to a double ‘A’ rating at following an audit on the Merck Sharp Dohme site. This is the highest possible rating and is achieved by less than 10% of the companies who hold the Safe-T-cert certification.

This certification is a recognized safety management system, it is recognised by IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health), the Construction Industry Federation (CIF) and approved for the UK procurement process under the Safety Scheme in Procurement (SSIP).

The award of this upgraded certificate highlights our commitment at ADCO Contracting and Civil Engineering Ltd to excellence in all aspects of our work and our ongoing focus on Continuous Improvement.

Health and Safety is a fundamental part of our mindset. ADCO recognises the duties and responsibilities placed upon it by the Safety Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005, the Safety Health and Welfare at work ( Construction Regulations ) 2013 and all other legislation related to construction practices. ADCO are committed to meeting not only the minimum requirements but exceeding them where practicable.

Many thanks to all the clients and design teams who have afforded us the opportunity to work with them on their prestigious projects and assisted us greatly in achieving this result. Without a doubt these results are achieved through the teamwork of all involved.

We will receive a letter from IOSH in the coming weeks confirming this result which we will forward to all with a press release.  Needless to say we are very proud of this achievement.
