Takeda is a global, research-driven biopharmaceutical company committed to bringing innovative treatments to patients worldwide. With a focus on areas such as oncology and neuroscience, Takeda is known for delivering life-transforming therapies.
ADCO was contracted by Takeda to deliver a new Capsule Filler Suite as part of extensive modifications to their existing cleanroom facilities at their Grange Castle site in Ireland. This project involved significant construction work, all carried out within a live operational pharmaceutical plant, necessitating careful phasing and coordination to ensure no disruption to Takeda’s ongoing operations.
The project involved the demolition of internal walls and the construction of new cleanroom partitions, garb rooms, and doors within Takeda’s existing facility. New anti-static flooring, stainless steel wall cladding, and high-quality finishes were applied. Mechanical and electrical modifications, including sprinkler adjustments and service tie-ins, were also completed. All work was carefully phased to avoid disrupting Takeda’s operations.
